Why Soufly

Dairy-free, high-protein, and still a soufflé.

One · Delicious

Tastes good or does good.

The indulgent box has the texture and none of the nutrition. The healthy one has the numbers and nobody finishes the plate.

Café height and texture, from a pouch
Two · Protein filled

Protein that eats like cardboard.

Most protein mixes get their grams from whey or egg and pay for it in density: a flatter, chewier pancake.

8 g from pea and wheat isolates, still light
Three · Dairy free

Dairy free means settling.

Skip dairy or eggs and the set shrinks to the plain, flat, no-frills bags.

No dairy, no eggs; wheat is the only allergen

What is doing the work in the formula

Protein. Pea protein isolate and wheat protein isolate, not whey or egg. That is where the 8 g comes from, and why the pancake stays light.

Sweetness. Powdered sugar for browning, stevia and monkfruit extract to keep added sugars at 9 g per serving.

Lift. Baking powder and baking soda, activated by the half tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in the prep. No egg whites to whip.

Fiber. Inulin and oat fiber. Not enough for an FDA fiber claim, so we don’t make one.

Case pack, SKU and UPC are being finalized with the manufacturer. The protein claim is pending the food scientist’s PDCAAS result. No third-party certifications at launch.

How to make

How to make soufflé pancakes from the mix. About 15 minutes.

Before you start

Five things, one bowl, one pan.

  • Dry mix1 cup
  • Water, milk or alternate milk½ cup
  • Apple cider vinegar½ tbsp
  • Oil2 tbsp
  • Banana, mashed½

One cup of mix makes about 2½ pancakes. The 16 oz pouch holds about 9 cups.

Step one

Mash

Mash the banana. Add the water or milk, the vinegar and the oil, and mix well.

2 minFork and bowl

The banana is not a topping: it binds the batter and carries the Na Na flavor.

Step two

Whisk

Add the dry mix and whisk until just combined. Then leave the batter alone for 3 minutes.

1 min whisk3 min rest

The rest is when the vinegar and the leavening start working. Overmixing knocks the air back out.

Step three

Cook

Lightly oiled pan on medium-low. 3 to 4 minutes per side, until golden and tall.

3–4 min per sideMedium-lowLid on, first side

Trapped steam sets the sides before the top does. That is where the height comes from.

Who picks it up

Who picks up a dairy-free protein pancake mix: three households already in your store.

Three households, one shelf. The first is the volume; the other two are why the price point holds.

Core

The wellness-minded mom

Kids between 8 and 18, urban market, reads labels. She wants one breakfast the whole table eats without a negotiation.

What closes it: 8 g of protein and no dairy, on something the kids ask for again.

Growth

The single who cooks

18 to 45, disposable income, orders soufflé pancakes when they travel and has never made them.

What closes it: café height from a pouch, 15 minutes, one bowl.

Growth

The weekend-brunch couple

Cooks together on Saturday, buys premium, posts the plate.

What closes it: a better version of something they already make, not a new habit.

For your business

A wholesale pancake mix for retail shelves, dry grocery catalogs and kitchens.

One SKU and one formula, three ways to buy it: the 16 oz pouch for the shelf, the bulk bag for the line. Pick your column; the facts underneath are the same for everyone.

Retail

A wholesale pancake mix that sells at the top of the set.

Same aisle, same shelf, same shopper. The difference is a café product that was never available dry, at a premium price inside a category she already walks to.

The case
It also brings in the two shoppers the set loses today: dairy-free and protein shoppers who read the back of the box and leave for a specialty retailer.
What you get
The 16 oz stand-up pouch with a reseal, about 9 servings. It ships and stocks like dry grocery, because it is.

Distribution

Adding Soufly to a dry grocery catalog.

One SKU at launch: Na Na banana soufflé pancake mix in a 16 oz stand-up pouch. It keeps 90 days at room temperature and never touches a freezer.

The case
Formulated with a food scientist and labeled to FDA 21 CFR 101. The formula and the pouch are both final: what you quote today is what ships.
What you get
A sell sheet, the FDA-format Nutrition Facts panel, product photography and a two-line pitch per account type. Your reps don’t write anything.
Terms
One sheet covers wholesale, suggested retail, case pack, minimum order and lead time. Launch is Texas, starting in Austin, and territories are still open.

Foodservice

Bulk soufflé pancake mix for restaurants, cafés and hotels.

Soufflé pancakes sell at brunch and almost nobody serves them: whipped egg whites to order need a trained cook and twenty minutes. Soufly gets its height from the batter.

The case
A line cook plates the same pancake every time: lightly oiled pan, medium-low, 3–4 minutes a side with a lid on the first one.
What you get
The same formula in a bulk bag. One cup of mix makes about 2½ pancakes, and the batter holds on the line while you work through it.
Terms
Dairy free and egg free on the ingredient line, with wheat the only allergen: one pancake for the whole table and no substitution ticket. Case size on the terms sheet.
